Notes

James Evelyn Brooke Turner is from South London. He had hoped to get a plinth place late at night. He likes cycling so has brought his bicycle, he is also wearing the suit he wears to work and may wear his swimming hat. He also has shorts and a shirt to advertise condor cycles. He is part of the South London cold water swimming club. He is a trustee of the Spires centre who are a charity for homeless people. He is currently finishing an MA in Medieval culture at Birkbeck College, writing about bankruptcy in the forteenth century. He works for the Nuffield Foundation which funds social research. He is a fan of baroque artists. He considers the project slightly exploitative. He is not going to try and entertain because he considers himself talentless. His family is important to him but he wouldn't describe himself as a family man. His father was a diplomat so he went to a boarding school, he has three siblings; he now has a wife and four children.
