Locations: Emergency Medical Centre: Luton Depot,and pre setting up of the National Blood Transfusion Service, at the Slough Depot; in 1946 amalgamated at High Barnet in a converted decontamination centre. 1952 moved to grounds of Edgware General Hospital. 1989 moved to new centre at Colindale, officially opened by HRH The Duchess of Gloucester in 1990 (see SA/HHC/Q/3)
