Description

HeLa cells undergoing mitosis. The cells are are labeled green with GFP. The chromosomes (blue) are aligned along the centre of the cells ready to be pulled apart by the spindles (orange). The spindles contain the protein tubulin. This image is a maximum-intensity projection of deconvolved 3D data sets from a restoration microscope.
