Insect pests cover the earth and threaten humanity; an alchemist discovers Insecticide Vicat and restores mankind; a husband and wife can sleep well together without bedbugs; a cook no longer has her kitchen covered with cockroaches; a concierge recovers her good humour as her pets are freed from fleas; a housewife can keep her clothes and drapes free from caterpillars; gardeners free their gardens from cockchafers, caterpillars etc.; mothers-in-law unworried by mosquitoes are well-disposed to their sons-in-law; insects drop dead before a bottle of Insecticide Vicat
