About this work
Description
Scientists, led by a team at the Sanger Centre, Cambridge, have worked out the genetic blueprint of the bug which causes Bubonic Plague. It is hoped that this will allow for the development of drugs to combat the disease, which could be used in the event of a chemical attack.
