Notes on Chemistry taken down from the Lectures of Professor Théophile Jules Pelouze [1807-1867], given at the Collège de France. With other notes on chemical subjects. Compiler's holograph MS. Illustrated with a few rough pen-drawings of chemical apparatus, etc. An autograph note by Joseph Louis Pasteur Vallery-Radot [1886-1971] states that: 'les pages déchirées l'ont été par Pasteur lui-même qui voulait détruire ce cahier'. He also gives 1848 as the year in which these notes were written, and adds that the MS. was 'donné par Mr. le Dr. Léon Bérard [1870-1956], Chirurgien des Hôpitaux de Léon agrégé' in 1907.
