About this work

Description

Bog plant with rosettes of sticky fingers of red on a yellow base. Digests insects by means of enzymes similar to those in the human stomach. Contains naphthoquinone glucosides; used in homeopathy for treating whooping-cough for which it is a specific remedy as it reacts on the nerve-ends of the larynx.
