Lettering

Charles the first, king of England, Scotland, France and Ireland &c. Non eripienda. Ant. Van Dike equit. pinx. R. Sheppard sculp. Place before this reign The crown bears the legend "Non eripienda" (not to be snatched away). The arms below bear mottoes "Honi soit qui mal y pense" and "Dieu et mon droit"
