Photographic copies of the record of the post-mortem examination carried out on Cecil Rhodes in 1902 by the military surgeon Dr. Sir Edmond Sinclair Stevenson F.R.C.S.E. (1850-1927), in the presence of the imperialist and leader of the "Jameson Raid" Sir Leander Starr Jameson (1853-1917), the civil engineer Sir Charles Metcalfe (1853-1928), and the South African politicians Sir Edgar Walton (1856-1947) and Sir Thomas Smartt (1858-1929). 3 copies (nos.1-3) and covering note (no.4).

Photographed at the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum; the original document at that time had been loaned by the two surviving daughters of Dr. Sir Edward Sinclair-Stevenson to Mr. C.E. Reeve, London Agent of the Rhodes-Livingstone Institute, Livingstone, Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia).
