An explanation of the manuscript, which was published in facsimile (with title "Il manoscritto messicano Borgiano ... riprodotto in fotocromografia") by the Vatican library in 1898, at the expense of the Duke of Loubat. The text includes copious illustrations from other Mexican manuscripts, and a reproduction of the Codex Borgianus is appended to the first two volumes. v.3, index to the whole.
