About this work

Description

This programme investigates the possibility that one in five of the three million Britons being treated for high blood pressure may not need drugs as their pressure is only raised due to the stress of seeing the doctor - a condition known as 'white coat hypertension.' Sufferers of the condition describe how it's affected their lives and experts describe what causes this phenomenon.
