About this work

Description

Mayr explains how he is disappointed that Pontecorvo will not be moving to Harvard as he was sure they would have "found much pleasure in each others company" and that Harvard would have gained from Pontecorvo's "presence". He also discusses some of the other nominees for the position at Harvard who had also turned down the offer.
