Jacobus Dei gratia magnae Britanniae Franciae et Hiberniae rex etc. Bears German text on verso in black letter in double columns Two Latin couplets below the portrait: "Cernere magnanimum regis caput osque requiris? Magnanimum regis cernere pictus amas? tale caput simul os et pectus tale ministras Ipse Iacobe, tibi rex gravis amplus opas" [sic]
