Contains letters between K Mather and J B S Haldane from January 1948 regarding the first meeting of the British Region of the Biometric Society, and enclosing foundation papers consisting of:

copy of the draft rules for management of the region;

copy of the proposed notice to be sent to Nature and other journals;

copy of a letter drafted by E C Wood for circulation amongst his colleagues;

copy of the regional constitution;

copy of the subscription form;

and an offprint of an article in Science about the foundation of the International Biometric Society.


Also contains letters between Mather and Haldane from February 1948 regarding the Biometric Society's use of subscription fees.
