About this work

Description

This informative film follows a dramatised account of a 45-year-old man suffering from hypertension. He visits his GP, then undergoes a series of tests in hospital to see if his hypertension is primary or secondary. Throughout, the GP and hospital consultant discuss his condition and test results providing much useful information as to the various treatments of hypertension. In the middle of the film the sequence covering the patient's hospital tests is handled in a creative, almost surreal way, with a piercing soundtrack.
