Notes

Christopher Murphy is from Durham. He works as a placement manager for London Underground. While on the plinth he will be raising awareness of the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. To do this he will be drawing a parallel between human homelessness and the plight of the orangutans by lying in a sleeping bag, wearing an orangutan mask, displaying a sign with the words 'Spare a thought' and handing out free orangutan cuddly toys to spectators who answer question's. He has adopted 3 orangutans via the charity. He feels that the project is an amazing opportunity to take part in art and a pivilege. In his spare time his interests are royal history, travel, art and musical theatre.
