Description
Case books, containing notes on patients by the medical staff, often accompanied by photographs. Inserted loose in the volumes are letters written by patients, temperature charts, death notices etc.

Biographical note
Founded by Thomas Holloway (1800-1883), the hospital opened in 1885 as an asylum for the middle and upper classes. It closed in 1981.
