Dr J W Trevan, Deputy Chairman of the Research Panel, "Comments on Tuberculocide Research" - compares the relatively orderly field of penicillin research with the chemotherapy of tuberculosis which "is becoming an incohate mass of unrelated investigations into all possible types of chemical compounds, chosen almost at random" (14 September, 1943).
