An Authentick account of the proceedings against John Wilkes, Esq; Member of Parliament for Aylesbury, and late colonel of the Buckinghamshire militia. Containing all the papers relative to this interesting affair, from that gentleman's being taken into custody by His Majesty's messengers, to his discharge at the Court of Common Pleas. With an abstract of that precious jewel of an Englishman, the Habeas Corpus Act. Also the North Briton no. 45. Being the paper for which Mr. Wilkes was sent to the Tower.
