Bayer facts of science education. IX, Americans' views on the role of science and technology in U.S. national defense.

An online survey conducted by the Gallup Organisation and commissioned by the Bayer Corporation as part of its Making Science Make Sense (MSMS) programme. The survey examined Americans' knowledge and attitudes towards science education as well as the role that science and technology play in U.S. national security. Data was collected via a national telephone questionnaire between the 10 March to the 7 April 2003. The survey is available as an executive summary with key highlights and detailed findings.
