About this work

Description

Ronald Wilson died in 2004 aged 67. He had experienced three strokes in the last eight years of his life. The 16 photographs in the Dad series were taken by his daughter Sharon Wilson. They document his time in Redwell Hills nursing home, St Ives Road, Consett, County Durham DH8 7SN, and in University Hospital, North Road, North Durham, where he died of pneumonia
