Description
The Medical Educational Trust (MET) was established in 1983 and constituted under the Lionel Penrose Trust. The Trust was formed to promote research and conduct education, focusing on the effects of weapons of mass destruction, violence, and group conflict. MET first produced reports in 1990 as background papers for the 5th IPPNW European Symposium in Coventry. Many of these reports were subsequently updated for the Tenth World IPPNW Congress held in Stockholm, June 1991.
