About this work

Description

De la peste. Followed by short works on epidemic diseases, with special reference to Verdun. Preceded by two very rare printed works: Anly (J. d') Brief traicté. Verdun. 1631. Simonin. Remèdes contre la peste. Verdun. 1631. Author's holograph MS. Contents: Sauvage de Verdun. De la peste (pp. 1-72). -. On the t.p. of the second printed work is the signature 'Sauvage doct. Med.', and on the verso is pasted the upper half of his armorial book-plate. A pencilled note on a fly-leaf states that Sauvage is probably the author of the MS. Produced in Verdun.
