Packaging Samples

Primarily samples of packaging for Wellcome / Glaxo Wellcome products dating from the 1990s.

Also two files (WF/M/PK/01 and WF/M/PK/02) of samples of Wellcome products from 1942 and 1956.

Previous arrangement has been kept, with files of Wellcome / Glaxo Wellcome products from the 1990s arranged by country of origin (WF/M/PK/03 - WF/M/PK/12).

WF/M/PK/13 mostly consists of products for the UK market produced by the Wellcome / Glaxo Wellcome, but does contain some products for overseas markets.

Although there is very little supporting documentation, it appears these samples were collated by Glaxo Wellcome to carry out a check on their trademarks.

Also included is packaging for some Glaxo products, dating from prior to the merger with Wellcome. As copyright does not extend to Glaxo products, these products have been highlighted.
