It is divided into the following sections:- (1) "Wonder Drugs" - molecular-level drug design; (2) "Science for Health" - how the link was established between smoking and lung cancer; (3) "Secrets of Life" - the discovery of the structure of DNA and the legacy of work on genetic diseases; (4) "Electronic Eyes"- the history of the x-ray and magnetic resonanace imaging; (5) "Magic bullets"f1 - Cesar Milstein and the production of monoclonal antibodies; (6) "Gift of Life" - the development of in vitro fertilisation (IVF)
