Covering the Patients Association comments to the Home Office Data Protection Committee 1977, and the Committee's 1979 report; concerns about access to computerised medical records; the Data Protection Conference hosted by the BMA Sep 1981; Data Protection Commissioners' conference Oct 1982; disclosure to clients of personal social services records; protecting 3rd parties with regard to patient access to medical records; devising a code for the confidentiality of personal health information under the DPA 1984.
