Description
Correspondence relating to Heatley's application to the Rockefeller Foundation for a grant to work with Professor Linderstrom-Lang in the Carlsberg Laboratory, Copenhagen. The grant was approved and arrangements made for his departure in Sep 1939, but the work was prevented by the outbreak of the Second World War. Heatley was however allowed to continue the work in Oxford instead.
