Correspondence and reports relating to the Physiological Society's position on the formation of the Biosciences Federation (BSF) with the UK National Committee for Microbiology (UKNMC), Institute of Biology (IoB) and UK Life Sciences Committee (UKLSC). In October 2009, the Biosciences Federation was merged with the Institute of Biology (IoB) to form the Society of Biology, now the Royal Society of Biology (RSB).
