Dr Fritz Berliner worked at Crichton Royal Hospital from 1940 to 1946. Dr R. L. Beveridge was Senior Surgeon at Dumfries Royal Infirmary and performed leucotomy operations at the operating theatre in Easterbrook Hall at Crichton Royal Hospital. Dr W. Mayer-Gross was Director of Clinical Research at Crichton Royal Hospital from 1939 to 1954. Dr John N. P. Moore worked at Crichton Royal Hospital from 1941 to 1946 and was Deputy Physician Superintendent in 1946.
