Description

Ornithological memoranda. Holograph MS. compiled by the Author when serving as Surgeon and Naturalist to Sir James Clark Ross's Antarctic Expedition, 1839-1843. The record extends from 31 October, 1839 to 3 June, 1843. Included also are notes on seals caught, and on an Ornithorhyncus from Tasmania, dated 19 May, 1841.
