The photographic material was scattered throughout the collection, often with little in terms of context or labelling. The groupings in this section attempt to apply categories and some order to the material but may not be the 'perfect' arrangement. Some material could just as well have been placed in more than one series within the section (or indeed in other sections) and there may be some errors of dating and grouping due to insufficient information on the dates and places of creation of some of the images or what purpose they were specifically for.
