Flolan (for prevention of blood clots)

Used as an alternative to heparin during renal dialysis, as a preservative of platelet no. during cardiopulmonary bypass and also to prevent platelet activation during charcoal haemoperfusion of patients in fulminant hepatic failure. Available as single vials of freeze-dried drug with one vial of diluent.
