About this work

Description

The first item on the programme looks at what happens when doctors and other health workers based in mental health services suffer from mental illness themselves. We hear the tragic story of a psychiatrist, Daksha Emson, who committed suicide after suffering depression for years and feeling too afraid to tell her colleagues. The second item on the programme is about why quiz shows are so addictive. The third item is about a 'brain gym', designed to improve brain power.
