Description

Excerpta quaedam ex variis libris, et primo ex Exercitationibus medicis Johannis Tabor M.B. Londini impensis Guil. et Joh. Innys ... 1724. With some medical notes and receipts in English, Latin, and French by an unnamed compiler. On the last leaf is a seal-impression in red wax. Against this, the compiler has written 'This is an old seal of the Constables which I found in my P[atient?] William Dunbars study Anno 1718'. An added note on the sixth leaf from the end is dated 'nov 1738'.

1 volume 17 ll. + 45 bl. ll. + 14 ll. 8vo. 17 × 11 cm. Original quarter-calf binding. A book-plate has been cut out from the inside of the upper cover. Among the blank leaves is a pencil drawing of a female head (19th cent.).
