Decorations in book are based on Mithraic imagery drawn from the monuments of Toman Imperial date. Depiction of Mithras an Indo-Iranian God of Healing, with description. 2 copies. Annotated diary and blank diary with inserted note "Mr. Malcolm Home 'Monthly' Medical Diary 1930".

2 copies. Wallet style, bound in Morocco leather with wallet to hold a pen. Endpapers printed in light brown with cream printed unicorns. Text block machine made paper, text printed in black, paper pre lined with blue and brown printing ink. The Diary has all three edges in red. Embossed blind on spine '1930' and embossed unicorn on front, embossed 'Wellcome's Medical Dairy 1930' on flap. There is a white tape bookmark printed ''WELLCOME' CHEMICALS PAGE 313. PRICE LIST PAGE 321' printed in dark blue. The tape has an advert attached to it, in the form of a paper; bottle of Wellcome Ephedrine Hydrochloride on one side and Laxative Vegetable on the other.
