Pack of lies.

"Panorama"taces the history of the tobacco industry's attitudes towards smoking-related health risks and finds a policy of continual refusal to acknowledge these dangers even when they are proved by the tobacco industry's own research. The industry's 1953 claim of co-operation with health concerns is shown to be false in the light of its behaviour to its own researchers and in its publicity strategies, wherein it created doubt about the link between smoking and disease without actually denying it.
