Biographical note
In 1940, after obtaining British medical qualifications, SHF moved to Exeter. Here he worked in the private practice of a general psychiatrist (23 Dixie's Field), and as Honorary Physician (Medical Psychologist) to the Exeter Dispensary Clinic for Nervous Diseases. In September 1941 he began to conduct groups with Eve Lewis.
