Notes

Ralph Spurrier lives in Sussex but originally from Birmingham and moved down south aged 5. Has been a bookseller for 40 years and finally did a degree in English 10 years ago and just finished his MA in Creative Writing for which he wrote a crime novel and uses the Mass Observation archives as research. On the plinth he is going to read from his book and he is going to write a spoof history of how he found the manuscript that he is writing which he has already published. Hopes to fool the public with this
