Workshop papers with Newman's notes, correspondence regarding workshop arrangements, and Newman's paper given at the workshop, "Thalidomide damage - late recognitition of embryopathy syndrome for legal purposes". The file also includes a copy of a 2001 paper given by Newman at a postgraduate meeting at Leeds University regarding the thalidomide points assessments, Thalidomide Trust Health & Welfare sub-committee meeting papers from 17 November 2006 which includes a report of the workshop (item 5), and later correspondence from 2011 and 2017 about later diagnosis of thalidomide damage.
