Julia Pastrana. ... Geog. Wick Lettering continues: "Julia Pastrana, whose photograph we reproduce above, was born in Mexico, and died in the year 1860, after giving birth to a child at Moscow. Both bodies were embalmed and preserved in that city, being present in Praüscher's Museum. Her upper eye-teeth and incisors are missing."
