Klebsiella pneumonia

Klebsiella pneumonia: plain chest x-ray This chest x-ray shows consolidation in the left upper lobe. The patient was treated with intravenous ampicillin for pneumococcal pneumonia, but deteriorated. Treatment was switched to antituberculous chemotherapy, but with no improvement. Later, a sputum sample grew Klebsiella pneumoniae. See record number W0045335 for a subsequent x-ray.
