Biographical note

Project description:Reminiscence' is a new play in development, based on a case study by Oliver Sacks in his book 'The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat'. It explores the nature of memory, and asks how much we understand about how the mind works. Through the story of Mrs O'C, whose temporal lobe seizures seem to unlock lost memories and music from her childhood, a team of theatre artists, scientists, and musicians will investigate these questions. Through lively debates and discussions, we will also invite our audiences into a deeper engagement with our scientific and social understanding of the workings of the mind.
