Wellcome bodies

This is an artificially created series of memoranda and correspondence between the HMM and other Wellcome bodies. It seems likely that some of the files were removed from their larger series of origin, but others may have always been filed separately. It has not been possible to identify the original archival sequence of the files, so they have been listed here as one body. However, some grouping of the files was evident, and has been preserved in the list that follows. The files relate largely to administrative routine, but do give an indication of the inter-locking relationships of the distinct Wellcome bodies. Other similar correspondence can be found in the series HMM/CO/Chr and HMM/CO/Sub, from where it is likely that some of these files were removed at some point
