Notes

Beth Matterson comes from Richmond in North Yorkshire. She is very interested in art, particularly modern art, and also cooking, music and the English language. Hopes to study English language at Leeds University and then hopes to be a journalist. Talks about how the English language has changed throughout history and how Pink is an inspirational musician because she backs a lot of charities and she dares to speak her mind. She recaptures memories of when she was little and baked a cake with the grandmother that they burned. On the plinth she is going to reconstruct something, not sure what. Has brought wire and wire cutters up with her.
