Notes

"The second part of the Experienc'd farrier ... the 2d imp. much enl. and amended by A. O. London, Richard Northcott, 1680" p.: [175]-418, [1-40]
Copy 1 Note: Main t.p., front. and sigs. Mmm2-3 wanting, supplied in photocopy from Rothamsted Experimental Station. Subsidiary t.p. to pt. ii, dated 1680 and naming 'A.O.' as editor, on p.[175]. Prelim. leaves inscribed 'George Wright his book September 1694'. MS. notes of similar date on flyleaves and in margins. In view of this inscription, it is possible that this copy may in fact come from the edition of 1691/2 (Wing R14), which is presumably a reissue of the 1681 ed. with new t.p. The alleged 1680 ed. (Wing R13, citing this copy) is evidently a ghost caused by the 1680 subsidiary t.p.
