Description

The fforrunner of Revenge. Upon the duke of Buckingham for poysoninge the most potent King James of happy memorie king of great Brittaine, ffraunce and Ireland, and the lorde Marquesse of Hamilton and others of the Nobility. A contemporary copy of the pamphlet published in Frankfort in 1626, of which only one copy-at Emmanuel College, Cambridge-is recorded in the S.T.C. as No. 7548. It was translated into German in the same year. The English version was not published till 1642.
