Robert Oxtoby lives in Bolton, Lancashire but is originally from Yorkshire. He trained as a scientist and trained teachers teaching at various universities and also become a college manager. On the plinth he will be reflecting on his life spent in education and his home life. He is wearing his academic dress, has a pop up for being a chair of governors at a college, a cricket bat as he likes cricket and hopes to do a private eye crossword
