About this work

Description

Collection of notes and extracts on diseases and their treatment: in French. There are many translated extracts from late 17th cent. English medical writers. One of the many marginal and later additions on p. 17 is dated 1709, and the main text seems to have been written in 1701 (p. 27), but some of the notes may have been written after 1709 from the evidence of the script, which in places is that of a man of advanced age. The name 'Ribé' appears in the upper margin of the 'Table'.
