Apparently a first generation photographic reprint of the surreptitious edition of 1901. On p. 54, line 19, the "I" in "It" has been obliterated as well as part of the first "e" in "theoretically" in the line above. In a second generation reprint the "I" has been poorly replaced, apparently with a hand stamp; the "e" in "theoretically" is partially obliterated still.
Range of possible date of publication due to the presence in an HRC copy of the presumed second photographic reprint of an owner's ms. dating "Jany 5, 1920."
