File consists of correspondence with people who have surnames from Spurway to Young, related to the seminar on, "The Development of Sports Medicine in Twentieth-century Britain", which was held at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL, on 29 June 2007. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. The transcript of this seminar was published as Volume 36 of the Witness Seminar series, L.A. Reynolds and E.M. Tansey (editors), The Development of Sports Medicine in Twentieth-century Britain, (London: Wellcome Trust, 2009).

Detailed information for the seminar, commentary on the transcripts and feedback on the meeting from participants. Dr Dan Tunstall Pedoe provided a copy of the 1989 Society of Apothecaries' syllabus relating to the diploma in sports medicine (appendix 1 of published volume).
